Workshop: Black Soldier Fly Larvae

Description

This half-day workshop will demonstrate how to make a simple Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) bin.  The bin attracts Soldier Flies, which lay their eggs near the food source.  After the eggs hatch and mature into larvae, the bin aids in harvesting the larvae for consumption by birds and fish.  Price includes printed material.

If you would like to make your own bin along with the instructor, we can purchase the materials for you for an additional $20, or we can give you a list of the materials you will need to bring to the class.
